The Paul Reed Smith Standard 24 shares the distinction of being among the first guitars crafted by Paul Reed Smith after the success of the Custom series. This 2003 version is a beautiful, very playable instrument that sounds at least as good as it looks. It features a nicely grained mahogany one piece body, 24-fret mahogany neck with a comfortable wide-thin carve, and a rosewood fretboard with abalone moon dot inlays. Pickups are the stock humbuckers of 2003 and this one is a non-tremolo, hardtail version.
The Standard 24 featuring the solid mahogany results in both tremendous tone and a look that's guaranteed to turn heads. By utilizing the most advanced finishing technology, PRS has developed fat, ultra-high gloss finishes and rich stains that exquisitely highlight the color and grain of the woods while retaining the fast, smooth feel of vintage lacquer. A most versitle guitar that can handle any musical situations with honor. This guitar has not seen much use and one can tell this from the condition; excellent!
This Paul Reed Smith Standard 24 electric guitar is in excellent/mint condition. There are some very light pick marks on the top, but the neck, frets and electronics are in great shape. There are no dings, chips or marks on this guitar with a fabulous glossy finish. You will receive it well packed in its original hard shell case with all original case candy.
