1997 Paul Reed Smith ("PRS") electric solid body guitar in sunburst finish with "wide - thin" neck in very good condition, serial #32xxx (serial number not completely listed to prevent "second chance" scams!!!) . Body is mahogany with a carved-arched figured maple top. Neck is mahogany topped by a rosewood fretboard. Fretboard inlays are mother of pearl and abalone in the shape of a crescent and full moon overlaid on top of each other. The top is very nice as (hopefully) you can see by the photographs. The "treble" pickup is a PRS "Dragon" ceramic pickup and the "bass" pickup is a PRS "Dragon" alnico pickup. The lower control knob is a 5-way pickup selector switch, the other two knobs are volume and tone controls. This guitar has the PRS whammy bar system - a very good one - with the friction fit whammy bar (shown in the pictures). The guitar is actually a little darker than the pictures indicate and some of the things in the picture that look like they might be large marks are simply artifacts of the flash, although at its age there are some minor scratches and dings - I won't say its mint but unless someone put their new guitar under a bed for years I doubt you will find one in this good of a condition. The back of the guitar is a dark red color and you can see the wood grain.  This guitar is equipped with PRS locking tuning heads. The OHSC (Original Hard Shell Case) is included and is in very good condition. It is a locking case but as I purchased this guitar used (to help a friend pay his bills) the keys for the case were not with it. There are several allen wrenches for this guitar that are included and some of the "case candy". This guitar sounds great and plays great. The scale length is standard for a 1997 PRS guitar, along with the other technical specifications for that time. There is some wear on the body so I didn't rate it as "excellent" condition but for its age it really is in exceptional shape. I do accept Paypal, however, if you freeze the funds it will delay the shipping of the guitar as I need the funds to ship it - I have done this three times previously - as soon as the funds clear I ship and send the tracking number along with personal contact information (I send that at end of auction). This is why I put 30 days as an estimated time to complete the transaction - if funds clear I can (usually) ship the same day. If the "Buy It Now" option is exercised I will include the shipping fees but funds must clear (in all cases) before the guitar is shipped. I do not normally ship outside of the United States but might consider shipping to Canada under certain conditions.  If you are a zero or negative feedback bidder please contact me before bidding or I may have to cancel your bid. This guitar is being sold "as is - no returns" but I have described it in as much detail as I can and it is not going to disappoint anyone and if you don't like it somebody else will so you could always sell it - if you really wanted to!
