Paul Reed Smith Guitars

This is my baby...the best guitar I've ever played. I purchased it in early 2000 and have loved owning it. At this point in my life I'm not playing much and have decided to let it go to a better home. There is minimal wear and tear on this baby. You can see two tiny nicks (located to the left of the bridge near the edge of the guitar) in one picture. There are a few other "dings" that I'm aware of because I know every inch of this guitar, but they are so minor they will not show up in a picture. The guitar comes with a hard case, the original factory tag, original wammy bar and two little booklets from the factory. So here's some info about her with a few quotes from the PRS website just in case you aren't familiar with some of the terminology...

• PRS Tremolo and cam-style locking tuners
• 10 top - "A very small percent of the maple trees cut in North America are actually figured. To make "10-Top" status, a PRS top must have clearly defined figure across its entire top with no "dead" spots. A guitar designated as a 10-Top will have a small "10" written on the back of the headstock in the upper right corner. Some of our earlier guitars have the "10" stamped into the finish in the same position. In some cases, the top may be remarkable through about 90% of it and a little dead through about 10% of it."
• Mahogany back and neck with a figured maple top. Brazilian rosewood fretboard. (I believe the information about the wood is accurate based on what guitar store owners have told me and based on reading online, although because it's a custom guitar I can't be 100% sure).
• 5-Way Rotary Pickup Selector with a Volume and Tone knob.
• Regular Neck - "The Regular (sometimes called Standard) neck is a round neck shape that is 1/32 narrower and not quite as thick front to back as our Wide Fat neck."
• Pickups - Treble/Bridge Pickup: "HFS: Stock on Custom 24s, CE 24s and Standard 24s. Originally meaning Hot, Fat and Screams, the HFS features a powerful ceramic magnet and hot coils for an aggressive tone when cranked, clear highs, searing midrange and thumping bass." Bass/Neck Pickup: "Vintage Bass: Stock on Custom 24s, CE 24s and Standard 24s. This alnico pickup provides a round, clear tone to complement the HFS and also works well when coil tapped."

Shipping: I will take my baby to the UPS store and have the store pack it, under video surveillance, and I will insure it for at least what it sells for. Because it want it shipped properly, with the responsibility in the hands of UPS, I will cover the shipping costs. US customers only.
