1998 Paul Reed Smith Employee Custom 22, Quilt Top and its on Steroids. Huge Rolling Tubes, and a Single-piece Back. Discontinued Teal/Black Finish. A less common Wide-Thin Neck with an Indian Rosewood Fretboard. Bright Abalone Birds Sparkle. Its hard to see anything to complain about. Its in really nice condition (9.5/10 - looks like a few wisps between the pickups, and the back is just as clean, remember its USED but this just doesn't show much, really nice. All of the Gold Harware looks really clean(even the Pickups are very clean, no Hazing either). The Gold McCARTY PRS Pickups have terrific crunch and they sustain for days and the Gold PRS Wraparound StopTail Bridge stays in tune. This is the only Custom 22 that I've seen with McCarty pickups, they Roar. Gibson Style Switching (2 Volume & 2 Tone pots with a 3-Way Selector) gives you the options you like. This was just not played much and it shows it. The Finish is deep & it looks incredible under lights. Its just too difficult to see very much at all and frets are excellent and it has the tone we all luv. The Custom Abalone/Rosewood Tuner Buttons are included and the Original Buttons are packed safely in with the candy.The Abalone/Gold Volume and Tone Knobs are also included. This axe is less than 7lbs on my bathroom scales. The Original PRS Leather Artist Presentation Case is in good condition too & A NEW Spectroflex Braided Cord is included. The cases's Gold Hardware is clean and all Latches and Combination Locks work. Case Candy INCLUDING the Hang Tag, PRS picks, new Polish Cloth, another new set of PRS 9s strings, Truss Rod Tool, PRS Sticker, and more.
