Up for sale is the precious PRS. I special ordered it in 1998 and received in 1999. It is a beautiful specimen with a very unique top (whale blue), with Moon Fret Inlays. It also has a stoptail and precision locking tuners, as well as a wide-fat neck, for that THICK tone. In my opinion, this non-10 top has way more personality and beauty than most "10-tops".
I am the original owner. It has been played regularly and well taken care of. It has McCarty switching instead of the usual 5-way switching. This means it has a 3-way switch to select between pickups, in addition to the push-pull coil tap on tone knob.
It is American-made, like all PRSes were back then. There are the usual pick-swirls found on a guitar that has been played. As you know, these don't really show on photos Also a ding or three that can be felt more than seen. The headstock has a few micro-dings that are about 99% concealed by a sharpie. I did this a few years ago before I considered selling.
The case is a new custom vintage case as the old one wore out. I still have it if if desired (let me know and we can work something out).
I recently entered a guitar contest so there is YouTube video of this guitar being played, less than a week ago. The Dragon II pickups are still the best around.

I'm throwing in the strap seen in the pics. It is a great match and I didn't want to part them. Also, the strings seen are DR 9-46 Black Beauties. I am throwing a set of the Peacock Blue 9-46. These are the DR version of Elixirs.
