This is a 2001 PRS Custom 24 - Teal Black. Great guitar, just never gets used anymore. Would like to see it go to someone who plays on a regular basis, PRS guitars aren't meant to sit in cases as this one has.
It's in good shape, has some wear and tear, chips and nicks around the edges, light pick marks, nothing you wouldn't find on pretty much any ten year old guitar that's been played like it should. It's not hurt by any means though, and has been well maintained, kept clean and dirt free. I'll include PRS cleaner, wax, and fretboard conditioner, as well as an extra set of DR strings. (thats what I've always used on it...personal preference)
I've upgraded the tuners to the Phase II locking tuners, if you're not familiar, PRS started shipping the Phase II's in 2002. This guitar shipped with the original 'wing' tuners. The Phase II's are so much easier to tune AND change strings. I have the little 'booklet' that was attached to the guitar showing inspection signatures, model number and year of production, and of course the original hardshell case. (good shape)
I've put off selling it for about a year just because I wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing - I feel I can sell it now and have no regrets. It's been an exemplary guitar for me for many years, and it will be the same for it's next owner!
