Up for auction is a 2003 PRS McCarty Tobacco Burst guitar with bird inlays on a rosewood fretboard. This guitar was named after the legendary Ted McCarty who was responsible for creating the most iconic guitar in history: The 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard. With McCarty's help, Paul Reed Smith was able to recreate much of that magic in this guitar.
The guitar is in near mint condition. There is some light fret wear (attempted to show in pictures) and light pickmarks between the pickups. Fit, finish and playability are impeccable. No buzzing or fretting out. Instrument was made in 2003 and comes with after-market hard shell case. The sound is exceptional through any amp.
