Up for auction is a nice condition 2003 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Soapbar guitar. It has a maple top with a mahogany back. The neck is Mahogany and is Wide/Fat. The 22 fret rosewood fretboard is inlaid with abalone birds. This guitar has a stop tailpiece and no tremolo bar. The pickups are stock Seymour Duncan P-90's. The finish is ebony.
This guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are a few dings but nothing too major. The photos should show the worst of them. The finish is in very good shape and you can see my legs in reflection to prove it! The little white spots you see in the last two photos are dust particles. They are not marks in the finish. There are no repairs and no replaced parts.
This guitar plays and sounds fantastic! The action is low and straight. The frets are in excellent shape. The guitar has been professionally set up recently and you can really tell! Intonation is great, and I mean GREAT all the way up the neck. The sound from both pickups is fantastic. The bottom line is that this is a great guitar in great condition. You will not be disappointed.
