This is a 2004 Paul Reed Smith,
McCarty model, serial number 4-88166, in exceptionally fine original
condition. The silver metal flake
finish is in exceptionally fine condition, with only a couple of minor nicks or
dings (one is on the back of the neck as seen in the close-up), a few fingerprints (mainly from my holding
the guitar to photograph it), and some minor corrosion of the nickel covers on
the humbucking pickups. The guitar is
fully original and has volume and tone controls with the tone pot being a
push/pull type for a coil tap switch for the pickups. The circle shaped inlays are standard PRS crescent
moon design. The neck is straight,
the string action is low, and the guitar plays like butter and sounds great. This PRS guitar weighs a light 7 pounds, 3.3
ounces. It comes in its original
hard-shell case.
