Up for auction is a 2004 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 guitar w/ hardshell case.
This guitar has been definitely gigged and it shows. Overall, it's in very good condition. There are clearcoat dings around the edges, mostly on the bottom and around the edge of the headstock. The hardware shows wear with plating off from the saddles. I tried to take as many pictures of the dings as possible so check them out. The front and back has light scratches, but nothing deep. The strap buttons are replaced with Dunlop Locking strap, and a strap is included. The auction also includes a hardshell case, and the case has a lot of wear w/scratches. The fingerboard on the 1st & 2nd fret has some gouges near D & G strings (pictured), but it doesn't affect the playability whatsoever.
Functionally, the guitar works perfectly without any problems. The frets show fretwear, but they still have plently of life left, and there's no fretouts or buzzing. The guitar is setup nicely and it's a joy to play. There's no noisy pots or jacks.
As you can see from the pictures, it's a beautiful instrument with Tiger striped mapled top w/amber color.
