Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 (1957/2008 LTD)

Up for auction is a used 1957/2008 Custom 24 that was on display during the Experience PRS 2008 event. This one in particular is number 22 of 350 and has a spectacular quilted maple top. What set’s this guitar apart from other 57/08 guitars is that the early run of these had some of the first wire to come off of the machine and the pickups are not even engraved (all models now have 57/08 engraved in the corners). The tone of this guitar is amazing! It is a rich and harmonic tone that caters to both modern and classic rock as well as various other styles of music (very versatile).

This guitar was originally purchased in September of 2008 for $3,600.00 and is almost in pristine condition. The color is Charcoal Burst and is has a very comfortable Wide-Thin neck carve.

This guitar has been my main go-to axe for the past two years and I tried hard to keep it in good condition (with the exception of some ware on the neck [see pictures below]). Like I said, the tone is amazing and you will not be disappointed!

The last three pictures show the neck ware which was caused by my wedding band. As you will see, some of the clear coat has been worn off and there are a few minor chips that do go down to the wood. This does not affect the playing or tone in anyway.
