If you’ve been searching for a Paul Reed Smith Swamp Ash Special in beautiful near mint condition, one that hasn’t been in bars, abused in any way, and no surprises … you have come to the right place.
This is a 2008 model Swamp Ash Special in the Vintage Cherry color. This guitar is humbucking howler, or a single coil rhythm and lead machine. Although this model has been discontinued, it keeps showing up in various forms all the time. Because it gets all those tones you need with a flip of a switch or a pull of a coil tap.
This PRS “sounds” and “feels” like the perfect guitar should … it has those pure, powerful, Swamp Ash Special humbuckers with that vintage rail single coil—all designed for the tone that you’ve been looking for—with a 22 fret “wide fat” neck that feels like it was made for your hands. It is smooth and effortless to play, and the vintage tint maple fret board and old school dot markers are classy and add to this guitar’s beauty. It comes with original hard shell case.
This guitar is in near mint condition, with no buckle rash and no other marks I can detect. It has been “babied” and only played in the studio. It has all the case candy and the original PRS warranty card ready to complete and send in.
