2011 Paul Reed Smith Guitars Martin Simpson Angelus - Acoustic Guitar

It's a thrill to have one of the first PRS Martin Simpson Models to showcase here for you. Dream Guitars grew out of the time that owner Paul Heumiller spent traveling and teaching with Martin Simpson. "From Martin I learned to critically listen to guitars and to identify tonal qualities. As we traveled, we played hundreds of guitars and enjoyed discussing them in detail. It's here my lifelong passion grew to an obsession." - Paul Heumiller.

This Private Stock Martin Simpson Model from Paul Reed Smith is very special indeed. Combining rare Pernambuco with strong Adirondack Spruce, it offers a truly unique and expressive voice with power to spare. Pernambuco is the wood used worldwide for Violin Bows, it's very hard to find in guitar width. It is extremely resonant with a richness all it's own.

The Martin Simpson Model features his specs including a 1 13/16" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle. So it's a fingerstyle player's dream. The PRS Acoustic Pickup System is outstanding and makes this one ready for performance as well.

This is an all original mint condition 2003 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 in a rare transparent green that is a cross between emerald and turquoise, and this color is not any longer a stock color for the newer Custom 24 guitars by PRS. It has a beautiful 10 Top of Flame Maple that shows detail through the transparent turquoise green finish. From the very beginning of PRS the Custom 24 has been one of the flagship instruments of the PRS line. It was the first guitar that Paul took to the 1985 NAMM SHOW when he started introducing his guitars to the world. This guitar looks great, feels great with the wide thin profile neck, sounds great, it is defintely a dream machine, it has been set up by one of the best guitar tech's in the business! There is lots of fret life as this guitar was hardly played. The guitar comes with a hard shell case. Bid with confidence this guitar is in immaculate condition and functions as a high quality instrument should. It will be very hard to find one of these for this price in better condition that this beautiful guitar, and unlike many guitar manufacturers, PRS Ten Top guitars hold their value!
