ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is my Paul Reed Smith 25th Anniversary Mira. This guitar was purchased new in November of 2010 and has no more than 1 hour of play time on it. I've never owned a guitar with P-90s and they're just not for me. I hung onto the guitar for a bit but now I just want to send it along to someone who might appreciate it more than I do. I tried to capture the color accurately but I would describe it as a transparent charcoal. You can see the wood grain through the finish on the top of the guitar. The neck carve is the "regular" neck carve which is a nice blend between the wide-fat and wide-thin. It weighs approximately 5.2lbs.
As far as condition goes, this guitar is mint save for the standard swirls from a polishing cloth which you get on any/every guitar just by wiping it down after playing it. The guitar will ship in its original 25th Anniversary hardshell case and all the original case candy will be in the case including the uncompleted warranty registration card. You'll notice that the case is not the silkscreened 25th Anniversary case. This is because PRS changed the specs on the 25th Anniversary Mira case near the end of the run and shipped the Mira in unmarked cases. This was confirmed by Shawn Nuthall of the PTC at PRS guitars as well as the retailer I bought the guitar from.
There is no reserve on this guitar so the high bidder will get it however I do have this guitar listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally.
