Paul Reed Smith Classic Electric CE22 New

Recent Paul Reed Smith Classic Electric CE22 in unplayed new condition. Color is vintage sunburst over a nicely figured Eastern Maple top and 1-piece solid Mahogany back. Neck
is bolt-in quartersawn Maple with Rosewood fretboard and "moon" inlays. "Wide/fat" neck profile; normal width and meduim depth/girth, very similar to a current Gibson Historic Les
Paul 1959 reissue.

Guitar has a pickup and control upgrade. Original pickups were harsh and didn't compliment the guitar, and the stock controls were somewhat cheap. Original pickups have been
upgraded to a NOS set of early Gotoh VH1 (PAF replicas) with double-cream bobbins, the volume and tone pots have been upgraded to premium CTS 500K audio taper, and the
tone circuit capacitor has been upgraded to a NOS vintage Sprague. Not only does the guitar look absolutely stunning, it plays and sounds incredible with a classic, well-balanced
sound with lots of overtones and note bloom. Neck pocket is as tight and precise as a glued-in neck. Factory bridge setup is perfect. The tone of this guitar is just incredible. The bass
is clear, the mids have an airy honk, and the highs are chimey and ring like a bell. It literally vibrates when strumming chords. This is arguably the best do-all, Fender/Gibson hybrid
guitar ever made. It is simply an exceptional instrument that will please even the most discerning player or collector.
