PRS Custom 24 20th Anniversary - Prototype!!!
I have a small collection of PRS prototypes and it's time to move 'em on. Here's a stunning 2004 Paul Reed Smith CU24 20th Anniversary Prototype. The production 20ths didn't arrive on the scene until 2005. This guitar being a prototype bears an '04 serial number with the Eagle hang tag indicating it was completed on Dec. 1st of '04, in time to be displayed at the Winter NAMM Show in January. The hang tag, writing on the back of the headstock, and letter of authenticity all verify that the guitar is a prototype. The guitar comes finished in amber, with gold hardware, PRS trem, HFS and Vintage Bass pups, wide-thin neck, which IMHO feels more like a regular carve, 20th Anniversary birds, and 20th Anniversary truss rod cover. It comes with it's original hardshell case, paperwork, and a letter of authenticity from PRS. The trem bar is in the glove box. The instrument is in superb condition with no wear to speak of.
