Paul Reed Smith Guitars

Up for auction is a 2002 Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 electric guitar.  This model is equipped with PRS Dragon II pickups, PRS custom tremolo bridge, 5-way rotary knob pickup selector, PRS patented locking tuners and crescent moon inlays.  The finish is called 'Black Cherry'.  Mahogany body and neck, maple top.

I've lovingly played and cared for this instrument since I purchased it new in 2002.  It has been gigged heavily over the past decade, and has wear and tear indicative of this - a few dings and scratches, but nothing at all that effects the amazing playability or sound of the instrument.

COSMETIC FLAWS (see images for detail).

- On the lower edge of the body there is a small amount of wear, caused primarily by the pocket rivets on my jeans (a problem many guitarists deal with).
- There is a very small ding about a centimeter across, located where the thumb on the left hand would rest at the fifth fret - it's barely noticeable.
- Part of the finish on the bridge is worn off.  This is where the palm naturally rests on the right hand when palm muting.

Aside from these minor cosmetic flaws, the guitar is in amazing shape.  Tones-wise it's the most versatile guitar I've ever had the pleasure of playing.  This instrument needs a loving home; I'm sad to see it go, but tuition bills are coming in soon, and it's time to slim down the gear collection.  Please visit my other auctions where I have a variety of high end equipment for sale.
