EXTRA TONES
This also has a push/pull volume and push/pull tone control for single-coil modes. This means it will activate the single pickup closest to the neck and closest to the bridge, but not both at the same time.
This was set up to also provide similar tonal variations that the Ibanez Joe Satriani models offer.
But wait! there's more! This can also get the "out-of-phase" tone made famous by Peter Green.
READ CLOSELY:
When the volume control is set to single-coil mode, there will be two "deadspots." This means that when the volume control is pulled up (for single coil tone), and when you turn the rotary switch there will be two positions out of the 5 positions, where the guitar is "off" meaning no sound will come out. This is NOT a defect, this was set up with that intention by my guitar tech for noise prevention.
