The McCarty Model Hollowbody has the Michigan Maple top in tobacco sunburst pattern and the following changes from a PRS Custom:  covered humbicking pickups, a thicker mahogany back, a shorter wide-fat style neck, increased headstock angle, the new (in 1998) stop tailpiece, and simple abalone "moons" inlays.  It has the PRS volume and tone controls, and 3 way pick up sellector toggle switch.  Please look at the PRS site (www.prsguitars.com) for more info.

This guitar was made in 1998 but, with the exception of a couple of small button scratches on the back which show up in one of the pictures, it really does look like a new guitar. It has been lightly played and very well cared for. I never played it with a pick.  The finish on it is so reflective that it is hard to get pictures that do it justice, but there are no scratches or dings, nor are there any cracks or blemishes in the finish.  Everything works and there are no issues.  It comes in the original PRS hard case which also is in nearly new condition, with the original PRS wrench, case key and written material, and a PRS black leather strap.

This is the prettiest guitar I have owned in 50 years of picking at these things. You are going to want to keep it where you can look at it often.  It really is that sweet.  And it sounds better than it looks!  After all, it is a PRS.
