Paul Reed Smith Guitars

Up for your consideration is my 1989 vintage Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 with 10 top and sweet switch. It is a mint example of an early pre factory PRS with small heal wide thin neck in vintage sunburst. I have owned this guitar since 1993 or 94 and have always kept it in my home and in it's case except for when I was playing it. I have always treated it like the piece of art that it is. When these guitars came out I was immediately impressed with their quality especially at a time when Jackson's and Kramers were the in thing. I only opened up the pickups for the first time to take these photos and confirm the build date on the guitar. If you are looking at this guitar you probably already know of the quality and desirability of these early PRS guitars built when they were a new company and before the use of CNC machines. This is a investment grade instrument with original tremolo, the unique sweet switch, bird inlays, original PRS pickups, beautiful flamed maple "10" top and sunburst finish. There are no buckle rash and chips in the finish. You have to hold it in the right light to even see some light scratches but nothing that breaks the finish. I an certain you will love this guitar. Comes with the original case which is also very nice. It may have a few scratches but no tears or damage. I really hate to part with this guitar but a growing family and lack of time to enjoy it has made me decide to offer it for sale.
