Paul Reed Smith Guitars

I am parting with my beloved 2009 PRS Single Cut SC245 Hollowbody I. This guitar is AMAZING! I am the second owner of this guitar and have barley used it. It has been VERY carefully gigged with 2 times. Heres a little info I've managed to round up on this particular guitar. This guitar was part of a run of 300 guitars from July 2009 from the best of my knowledge whereGuitar Center buyers went and hand selected guitars with Paul personally and collectively decided on the most elegant (aside from 10 tops and Private Stock) to give electronic changes to make them unique. I do not have any documentation of this being the actual case but this is what i was told buy a pretty reliable expert source.The pickups are not the usual Archtop pickups. They are Starla Pickups. The top is not a 10 top but is way more unique than any 10 top i have seen as it has a very attractive section between the pickups that is fairly well bookmatched on both sides and has very highly figuring over the rest of the top and is finished off in what i believe is McCarty Sunburst. I fell in love with it as soon as i picked it up and strummed the first chord. It plays and sounds just as beautifully as it looks. Very full and clear sounding while having the perfect bass response and growl in the mid range and not shrill in the highs in any way, the PERFECT balance. The ONLY blemish i can find is the one pictured on the upper bout by the upper F hole. There is very light surface scratches on the back and a very few on the top. I give the guitar an 8.8 because of the blemish and the surface scratching, otherwise a 9.5 only because it is not a factory new guitar. This guitar has been EXTREMELY well cared for.
