The PRS 30 guitar amp head is the first 30-watt cathode biased amp in a
series of lower wattage amps from PRS Guitars. The 30 tube head
features a quartet of EL84 tubes with a simple control layout. Pumping
30 watts of power, the PRS 30 also includes reverb, a bright switch,
and plenty of headroom for playing in a small club or your practice
den.

Go
from a nice, clean rhythm tone, and crank up the guitar for
semi-overdriven lead tones. Bring up the mids and turn down the volume
for distorted '60s classic rock tones. Back it off a bit for clean,
chimy tone. Even with hot pickups, you're getting clean and classic
rock tone. Playing harder or softer on the guitar gives you lots of
options in the response, so you can control your tone through your
instrument. It sounds great for Texas blues, as it responds dynamically
to harder touches or strokes on the guitar.

These spanky,
percussive tones you achieve could make you change the way you play
guitar, giving you multiple dimensions on what you can do. Thanks to
its headroom, response, and spank of the EL84 tubes, you're able to do
a lot of different things and go in a lot of different directions.
Other features on the PRS 30 amplifier head include reverb and a
special master volume that's dialed out of the circuit as the amp's
volume is at max setting.
