Paul Reed Smith Guitars

This is a 1999 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Archtop Hollowbody.  It is as thick as an es-175 instead of the thinner PRS hollowbodies that you see.  This one has the artist pack which is gold hardware, rosewood headstock, abalone bird inlay, and ten top front and back.  It is an amazing instrument.  This guitar has been played and shows some wear but nothing bad for an 11 year old instrument.  There are some dings on the headstock, front and back, pictured, as well as the lacquer peeling around the g string tuner, also picturred.  There are a couple of small dings on the back and one on the front as well as a few small dings on the binding.  None of these go through the wood, only the lacquer.  There is also some light play-wear under the pickups from strumming and some of the gold has been worn off the pickups and the bridge.  I am only saying this for full disclosure.  This is truly a stunning instrument.  The tone of this guitar is awesome, really nice fat jazz sound to all out rock and no feedback.  The piezo sounds great with this deep of a body and all electronics function perfectly.  it just had the frets dressed and the intonation done and set up with new 11s.  It has awesome action, no buzzes and the intonation is spot on.  A great all original instrument for a player or a colector who wants a rare guitar but can live with a little soul:-)  Please ask all questions before bidding all sales are final.  Free shipping and insurance to the US, international buyers please ask for quote before bidding.  thanks!
