Position 10: Treble pickup
Position 9: Outside coils- deep and clear - parallel
Position 8: Series single coils – Warm version of the "in between the treble and middle pickups"
Position 7: Parallel single coils – Crisp version of the "in between the treble and middle pickups"
Position 6: Bass pickup

This is a wonderful guitar. It just sings, particularly with the treble pickup. The single coil tones are funky and crisp. Overall I'd say the bolt on maple neck probably supplies a bit more crispness than the mahogany set neck models - at least that was my experience in playing both types. It has a strat quality to it, but with a lot of muscle. The best tremelo system I've ever used - ergonomic, smooth, substantially built and no tuning problems. There are a couple of dings on the back and an area with some indentations on the butt edge of the body where the previous owner probably set it on the ground rather than on a stand. Other than these spots, the guitar is a stunner - goldtops are so Rock and Roll!
