This is PRS style guitar, hand carved in Illinois, finished in cherry-red sunburst. The carved top is Canadian flame maple with maple binding. The body is mahogany and has a nice body contour so you don't have the edge of the guitar digging into you as you play. The medium c shaped maple neck has two ebony pinstripes that run the length of the neck and glossy headstock, and the Indian rosewood fretboard has ellipse and bird inlays.

The pickups are Seymour Duncan: a "JB Model" in the bridge (with the magnet flipped over, more on that in a moment.) and a "Jazz" model in the neck (it's useful for a lot of playing styles, not just jazz.) This guitar has 1 volume and 1 tone, and a 5-way rotary switch:
1. Neck humbucker
2. Outer coils in parallel
3. Outer coils in series
4. Inner coils in parallel
5. Bridge humbucker

Note that number 1 is fully counter-clockwise and number 5 is fully clockwise, it's akin to a tone control, the brighter tones are clockwise and the bass heavy tones are counter-clockwise. By the way, flipping the magnet over in the bridge pickup? It makes all 5 pickup combinations Hum-Canceling! This guitar sounds as great as it looks! My favorite settings are numbers 4 and 1, but I'm sure your ears will find their own favorite tone(s) as you play.

The wrap tail bridge is basically a stand-alone tune-o-matic bridge, so the guitar can be intonated freely (It's currently set up up for standard tuning with D'Addario .10's.) A graphite nut and keystone tuners keep this guitar in tune. A black hardshell case keeps this guitar safe and secure and no worries about finding a weird truss rod wrench, the standard 5mm wrench is in the case. I've taken the liberty of throwing in a free string winder, a free "Planet Lock" Planet Waves strap and a few picks.
