Offered for sale is this fantastic 1999 (second year) model PRS Hollowbody II finished violin amber - what a georgous guitar. This is the second of these that I have had in stock in recent months. These guitars are incredibly light (less than 6 pounds) and EXTREMELY resonant and lively, much more so than your typical semi-hollow body design.  Only a solid piece at the bridge between the top and back keep this from being completely hollow in construction.  Both the top and back of the Hollowbody II are highly flamed maple, while the sides and neck are mahogany (the Hollowbody I has a plain mahogany back).  The neck carve is PRS' very nice wide/fat profile (not really that big), the pickups are PRS Archtop humbuckers, this guitar comes with the PRS stop-tail bridge and without the Piezo electronics.  Check out the following link to PRS' website for information about the current version of this impressive model: http://www.prsguitars.com/hollowbody2/index.html

As these pics attest to, this guitar has been extemely well cared for is in excellent plus condition, particularly for a nearly 12 year old instrument.  Minor cosmetic issues include a slight bit of oxidation haze on the pickup covers and bridge. On the back of the guitar there is a small area of finish checking and a tiny clear coat indent - both of which are highlighted in the second to last pic to the extent they can be photographed. 

Includes its original PRS hardshell case, paperwork and adjustment tools.  Really a marvelous instrument and a model which I will continue to purchase when I'm able to find and afford them....
