Paul Reed Smith Guitars

Offered for sale is this magnificent PRS SC-J (Single Cut Jumbo) built in 2009.   The SC-J is a full size hollowbody with premium grade flamed maple used on the top and back, with the sides and neck made of mohagany.  Macassar ebony was used for the fingerboard and headstock overlay with gold mother of pearl birds and signature. The bridge is  a PRS-designed ebony/curly maple unit.

Size-wise, this guitar is 17" wide at the lower bout and 1 and 7/8" deep at the rims. It weighs just 8.0 lbs. The neck carve is PRS' wide/fat carve, which isn't excessively large.

To say that this guitar has tonal "presence" is an understatement.  Think of a PRS Hollowbody II only LARGER - this guitar makes itself noticed when played. 

The condition of this guitar is like new and I haven't been able to find a mark on it.  Includes its original hardshell case, paperwork (including the unregistered warranty card) and adjustment tool.  

This is one of a limited run of just 300 instruments (only 200 of which were made available in the United States), so collector exclusivity is ensured. This instrument is both a technical and an artistic masterpiece - a thing of beauty whether its being played or just admired. 

These had a MSRP of $8,000 with a street price of $5,600 new.  This one is in nearly new condition. Sweet!
