Paul Reed Smith Guitars

Up for auction today is a Paul Reed Smith SC250. This is the most aggressive Singlecut that PRS has ever produced, with nice hot pickups, a solid body, and a beefy neck. This one has the now-discontinued "Old bird" inlays and a spectacular Tortoise-shell Maple cap. It's been gigged and has 2 main scratches on the top and back that are identified in the pictures along with some minor impressions/hazing on the top and back, but it plays like a new guitar and comes with the original hardshell case. There is also a ding on the back of the neck that can be seen in pic 7 that does not affect playability in any way. The first picture was taken by Willcutt Guitars when the guitar was new, so the scratch on the front is not visible in that picture. It's just a better photo than I could get of the top!

The headstock and fretboard are in perfect condition and the guitar was just cleaned, set up, oiled, and re-strung with 10's.

Somebody is going to get a deal on this piece as I'm only selling to fund some custom builds that are coming due. I've grown far more fond of having builders make my dream guitars than relying on production models, but the cost difference is immense!!
