Up for sale is a guitar that incorporates a variety of classic elements into a modern design, a Paul Reed Smith Starla.   This beautiful machine was built by Paul Reed Smith's top-quality craftsmen in Maryland, USA.

This machine features the top-quality craftsmanship and materials that PRS is known for, in a design that offers that enormous clean tone that you probably associate with Gretsch, Rickenbacker, (vintage) Epiphone, etc. I've always been a fan of that big "lap piano" clean tone that Chet Atkins got, and this guitar does that (and its semi-dirty counterpart) extremely well. This is the only guitar I've experienced that nailed that tone in a lightweight, solid-body package. I don't have an exact weight, but I would be surprised if this guitar weighs more than 7 lbs, even with the Bigsby.

Condition:  This instrument is in excellent condition, except for a finish ding (pictured) on the back edge in a spot that's easy to miss.
