This is a 2007 PRS 1980 West Street guitar in Vintage Cherry in excellent condition. The West Street Limited is a faithful replica of the guitars Paul Reed Smith made in the original West Street shop with the addition of an exotic sapele top. This guitar features a mahogany neck and back, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and an unplated brass tremolo bridge. The original headstock shape is decorated with an eagle inlay and an OM symbol on the truss rod cover. The dragon inlay design on the body is taken directly from some of Paul's first guitars.
The technical specs are all available on-line, but briefly they are:
Mahogany body with artist grade Sapele top; Santana II neck carve; Green heart abalone bird inlays; Sapele veneer on headstock; Small original Green heart abalone Eagle on veneer; non-plated PRS tremolo; Santana II switching; HFS Treble and RP bass pickups with zebra bobbins.
The guitar is in mint condition with the one exception of a tiny ding near the input jack plate (see pic). Other than that there are no marks of any kind anywhere.
These guitars were part of a limited run of 300.
Comes with the original custom PRS hardshell case, in mint condition. All the original case candy is also included.
