The Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 shares the distinction (with the
Custom 22) of being among the first guitars crafted by Paul Reed
Smith. The success of the Custom 24 gives it an esteemed place in
the expanding PRS lineup. This LTD Edition version features a
stunning, high-grade "Killer Quilt" maple top paired with a korina
back, a 24-fret Peruvian mahogany neck with a regular carve, and
banded melon bird fingerboard inlays. The 1957/2008 humbucking
pickups give the Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 incredible amplified
tone.

This Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 "Killer Quilt" is a special LTD
Edition PRS guitar. One of only 200 of its kind — and just 120 in
the U.S. — (This particular guitar was one of only 40 sold in
Canada!)
Fantastic "Killer Quilt" maple top
All the tonewoods used in crafting Paul Reed Smith guitars are of
exceptional quality — and this particular PRS Custom 24 is a prime
example of PRS at their best. A part of the new "Killer Quilt"
series, this PRS Custom 24 features a choice maple top with
unbelievable "Killer Quilt" figuring. This Paul Reed Smith Custom 24
also features a beautiful Korina back, banded melon bird inlays, and
a 24-fret Peruvian mahogany neck with a regular carve.
Special 1957/2008 humbucking pickups
The 1957/2008 pickups offered standard on this Custom 24 allow
players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. PRS obtained
exclusive rights to the original pickup wire used in the most
revered pickups in the '50s. PRS obtained the rights to the wire in
2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially
available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name.
Gorgeous finish
Employing the most advanced finishing technology, PRS has developed
fat, high-gloss finishes and rich stains that exquisitely highlight
the color and grain of the woods, while retaining the fast, smooth
feel of vintage lacquer. Because color is an important component in
any guitar's appearance, PRS dyes are specially blended to look
their very best under stage lights, shining with such luster and
brilliance that the guitar truly looks every bit as amazing as it
sounds.
