Here is a 10 year old Paul Reed Smith McCarty Soapbar that looks as good as the day it was made. Finished in a flawless Cherryburst stain with no nicks, dings or dents, not even button swirls. And the frets show no sign of wear...you would swear it was new. I have never played this guitar out and it shows.
This model sports the specially voiced P-90 Soapbar pickups. If you are looking for a crunchy, dirt 'n guts sound this is what you want. A lot more edge than a humbucker, the P-90 gives you much more expression whether you are playing rock or blues. I play this through a TS 808 in front of a vintage Vibrolux reverb and it just sings!
