This guitar is in mint condition. There's not a mark, scratch, or ding anywhere. The cosmetics and the playability are flawless. Why? I've probably played it for a total of a half hour since I owned it. The auction comes with the case, warrant card, trem arm, and inspection card which came with the instrument. It was born 08/07/2009.
Here are some specs. You probably know that the Santana has a wide-fat neck. When I first grabbed the Santana neck, it felt like a classical neck. This means lots of sustain. Also, unlike the Santana I and II models, the MD has a master voicing switch which adds or subtracts from the tone depending on preference. Since I also own a Santana II, I can say that this guitar is really the same in terms of playability and dynamics--just a lot cheaper. I can also say that the Santana MD pups will cut through anything. They are really powerful, and to my ear just a touch brighter than the Santana II pups despite the covers. . . . Oh, yes this is a 10 top. There's some nice Chevron flaming which the pictures struggle to show. (I kind of bought this color because I'm a Raider fan; don't hold it against me.)
The guitar is set up with factory 9.5 gauge strings. It's in its case and ready to be shipped.
