PRS recently reissued the pickups that he installed into his handmade guitars in
the mid to late 80s. My dealer told me that this run of reissues is
limited so they won't be made forever. These ARE NOT the
originals. Those are very rare and expensive. I bought a set of the
reissues because I was never quite happy with the darker tone of my
Dragon II pickups in my Custom 22. Well, I bought a McCarty Soapbar and sold the Custom 22 so I no longer need these. They would
be perfect for someone who needs to replace the originals and
doesn't want to spend the $$$$ if a set can even be found or if your just
looking for the signature PRS tone. They come in the original boxes with mounting hardware. The 4 conductor leads are long enough for any application. Wiring pamphlets are in each box.
