MINT CONDITION

This guitar is indeed a collector’s and player’s dream. It is manufactured 1986, the second year of PRSs production. This one is highly collectible and truly amazing instrument. Far better sounding then newer PRS guitars I had a chance to try.

The guitar is finished in beautiful sunburst nitrocellulose finish and with amazing 3-D maple flame top. The body back is light mahagony, so is the neck. Very resonant when played unplugged, very alive. The neck is straight like an arrow and guitar plays with nice low action, without any buzzing and dead points. Setup is incredible. The fingerboard is rosewood, original frets are like new, there is no visible ware and they have 99% of the life left. Electronics is all original and function flowlessly. Stays in tune perfectly which I consider a great bonus.

The PRS comes in the original HSC in very good condition, all latches work. The serial No. is 6 1534. The guitar has spent its life in non-smoking studio or at home, only seldom was used for gigs. But it did quite some work in studio.

I can get screaming lads and chunky rock sound to nice full clean sound with a flick of the 5-way selector, withour adjusting the amp setting. It sounds close to both Strat and Les Paul, very versatile indeed. With  PRS you can play easily rock, heavy rock, blues, jazz, stumming clean, slide, country, fingerpick, Santana lead tones, all in one package. But still, it has a character of its own.

This PRS sounds simply amazing, clear, articulate, well defined phenomenal note separation. Rich tones, great feedback, amazing overtones, very balanced tone all over the neck. When back off the volume you get more smoky tones. I always get great compliments when play alive and it is really one great recording machine.
